An OC has been created and accepted! Fiona “Fi” Montgomery | Sixth Year | Gryffindor | Straight | Karen Gillan|OC Life and soul of the party Happy, smart, loyal and brave. Doesn’t go looking for attention, but doesn’t mind it either. Played by Sophie. Timezone: EST. ‘I squeezed my twin sister Esther’s hand in the crowd as we waited for the Reaping to begin. We were there early - “A Stark is never late,” Daddy would say - and finally, the District Seven escort, Kane, stepped out and gave everyone a too-bright grin. “Welcome, one and all, to the Reaping of the Sixty-Seventh Hunger Games!” he announced happily into the microphone, causing me to tighten my grip on Esther’s hand. “Shh, Fiona,” she whispered, calming me down a bit. We stood for Panem’s anthem, mouthed along to the mayor’s speech (it had been the same since our first Reapig, if not before), and finally, Kane told the crowd that it was time to pick a female tribute. His hand dove into the glass bowl and he picked a paper slip pressed right against the side, flattening it out and reading in a crisp, Capitol-accented voice: “Fiona Michaels!” I stood, rooted to the spot, until a Peacekeeper pulled my arm out of Esther’s grip and forced me onto the stage. Kane asked for volunteers, and immediately, Esther cried, “I volunteer!” “NO!” I shouted, finally finding my voice. I would not let Esther go to the Games for me. “I can refuse, can’t I?” I demanded, turning to Kane with a furious frown. He nodded, clearly loving this situation. “There. I’m sorry, Esther.” My sister said nothing. She just looked at me one last time and turned, running furiously out of the Justice Building. And, for once, not even a Peacekeeper stopped her.’

‘It was a foggy, cold winter morning, and it was the end of Kaitlyn’s shift. She served her last latte and went to the lockers. “What a tiring morning,” she said to herself. She always hated morning shifts. It meant not sleeping for the whole night, not texting Pieter for seven hours, and not having fun with her best friends. Then suddenly, the manager asked Kaitlyn to go back and serve some more coffee. “Really?” she said. “It’s a ruff morning shift. I’m half asleep, and I don’t think I can serve anymore drinks!” she continued.

Kaitlyn ran back with no hope, half-asleep, and drowsy. “Yes, one grande non fat green tea latte,” Kaitlyn said lifelessly. “Anything else?” she continued. She walked slowly to heat the cheese quiche the customer ordered, then went back to the stall. “Yes, what would you like to order?” Kaitlyn said, without realizing the customer. She had long, golden locks, and her eyes were shining as bright as the sun. Kaitlyn smiled as wide as she could, ran to her lockers, and grabbed her bags. She opened her phone, texted Pieter, and ran out of the stall. “Thank you, you saved my life.” Kaitlyn said.

Kaitlyn grinned as wide as she could. She was so happy since Rosie saved her from a twelve hour shift. She always loved the end of shifts. It meant freedom, but no more free coffee. “One sec, Pieter’s calling me.” Kaitlyn said. After ten minutes of calling Pieter, Kaitlyn knew that Rosie was bored, and she was bored herself as well. “So, what should we do?” Kaitlyn asked. It was pretty confusing. Seven A.M. in the morning, no shops are open yet, and it’s as freezing as a freezer.

Kaitlyn’s straight, dark brown hair swung left to right while holding Rosie’s hand. Kids from her college thought that Rosie was her little sister. It was a bit awkward, but it was worth it. “I’m holding your hand so people won’t think I abducted you or think that I’m leaving my little sister away,” Kaitlyn whispered. “You know, you are like my little sister. You’re my little sister from another mother,” Kaitlyn continued. The two girls walked to a nearby photobooth, it was the only fun thing they could do at this time of day. “Here, let me pay,” Kaitlyn said while putting two dollar bills inside a machine.’
